Agave victoriae-reginae is endemic to the highlands of Chihuahua and Durango, Mexico, at elevations of 1200-1800 m. It inhabits rocky calcareous soils. The species produces a tall panicle inflorescence up to 3 m and is monocarpic, flowering once before rosette senescence. Compact rosette with thick, rigid, triangular leaves featuring sharp white margins. Leaves are dark green with prominent white veins, spineless edges, and a short black terminal spine. Rosette diameter reaches approximately 30 cm.
Requires full sun and well-draining substrate with mineral components. Water moderately, allowing soil to dry between irrigations. Minimum temperatures should not drop below 5 °C. Avoid waterlogging and frost.
