Native to the limestone regions of Namibia, Aloe Jurassic Dino thrives on steep basaltic rocky soils. It is a slow-growing polycarpic species, distinguished by a genetic mutation causing irregularly serrated leaf margins, unique within the genus. Linear leaves, 30-40 cm long, arranged in an open rosette with irregular serrated margins; green-grey coloration with bluish reflections during winter. Surface slightly rough, lacking prominent spines.
Full direct sunlight exposure; reduced watering from November to March; substrate containing at least 70% coarse sand and gravel; minimum temperature 5°C; prone to root rot if waterlogged.
