Aloe microstigma originates from mountainous areas of South Africa, favoring rocky slopes with sandy soils. It exhibits a winter growth cycle and is a polycarpic species, notable for its spineless leaves, an uncommon feature within the Aloe genus. Linear leaves 3-5 cm wide arranged in a dense rosette; green-grey coloration with pinkish tips during winter. Leaves reach up to 30 cm in length, smooth surface lacking spines.
Exposure ranges from full sun to partial shade; watering low in summer, increased in autumn-winter. Substrate must contain at least 70% mineral drainage material. Minimum temperature 5°C; prone to damage from prolonged waterlogging.
