Anacampseros rufescens 'Sand Rose' originates from sandy, gravelly slopes in South Africa. It is a polycarpic succulent exhibiting compact growth and leaves that develop reddish hues under high light stress, a trait less pronounced in related species. Spatulate leaves 1-2 cm long arranged in compact rosettes; green-gray color with intensified reddish tones during summer or high light exposure.
