Chamaelobivia rose quartz red originates from selective hybrids of Mexican species, typically found on sandy, rocky soils. It is a polycarpic succulent with spring blooming, featuring a compact habit and notably intense flower coloration distinguishing it within the genus. Leaves spatulate, 2-3 cm wide, arranged in a dense rosette. Light green coloration with reddish hues under thermal stress. Flowers measure 5-6 cm, rose quartz shade with intense red veining.
Full sun exposure for at least 6 hours daily. Reduced watering from October to March, increased in summer. Substrate with at least 70% mineral content, mandatory drainage. Minimum temperature 5°C; prone to root rot if waterlogged.
