craassula brevifolia

Crassula brevifolia originates from the mountainous calcareous slopes of South Africa. It exhibits slow, polycarpic growth and distinctively shorter leaves than congeners, adapted to habitats with significant thermal fluctuations. Leaves thick, ovate-cuneiform, 1-2 cm long, arranged in compact rosettes; green-grey with reddish tips under thermal stress.

Full sun exposure with partial shade during peak heat; reduced watering in winter, increased during active growth; substrate containing at least 70% well-draining mineral components; minimum temperature 5°C; prevent waterlogging to avoid root rot.
