Crassula baby necklace originates from coastal regions of South Africa, thriving on exposed granite rocks. It exhibits a prostrate, polycarpic growth habit with slender, branched stems. Unlike other Crassula species, it has tightly spiraled cylindrical leaves. Cylindrical leaves, 8-12 mm long, tightly spiraled along slender stems measuring 15-20 cm. Light green coloration with pinkish hues under full sun and water stress.
Requires at least 6 hours of direct full sun daily. Water only when substrate is fully dry, with reduced frequency in winter. Substrate composed of at least 70% mineral drainage material. Tmin 5°C; susceptible to root rot from waterlogging.
