Native to South Africa, Crassula benjamin inhabits semi-shaded rocky slopes. It is a perennial polycarpic species, notable within the genus for its spring blooming of small clustered white flowers, an uncommon trait among Crassulas. Opposite spatulate leaves, 2-3 cm long and 2-3 mm thick, light green with violet hues in winter. Branches exhibit an open, slightly arching arrangement.
Partial shade lighting; reduced watering in winter, increased during spring-summer; substrate with minimum 70% mineral content for drainage; minimum temperature 41°F (5°C); prevent waterlogging to avoid root rot.
