Native to coastal areas of South Africa, Crassula hobbit thrives on sun-exposed granite rocks. It is a polycarpic species with a bushy growth habit and cylindrical succulent leaves, distinctive within its genus for its tubular, slightly curved leaf shape. Leaves are cylindrical, 3-4 cm long, arranged in tight rosettes, with a glossy light green surface turning pale yellow under intense summer sun.
Requires at least 6 hours of direct full sun; reduced watering from autumn to spring; substrate with 70% mineral content and high drainage; minimum temperature 5°C; sensitive to waterlogging causing root rot.
