Crassula pegmatoides is native to South Africa, typically found on exposed granite rocks. It exhibits a compact, clumping, polycarpic growth habit. Unique within its genus, it features thick, flattened leaves arranged in tight rosettes, adapted to microhabitats with significant temperature fluctuations. Leaves are flattened, 8-12 mm wide, arranged in tight spiral rosettes, green-gray with red tips under thermal stress. Plant height reaches up to 15 cm.
Full direct sunlight exposure; watering reduced from winter to spring; substrate with at least 70% coarse sand and gravel; minimum temperature 5°C; susceptible to prolonged waterlogging.
