Crassula arborescens hails from coastal and hilly limestone slopes in South Africa. It exhibits a shrubby, polycarpic growth habit, notable within Crassula for its thick, rounded leaves uncommon in the genus. Orbicular leaves, 5-8 mm thick, arranged in compact rosettes with slightly concave margins; green-grey color with silver reflections intensified by direct sunlight exposure.
Requires full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours daily; reduced watering in winter, increased in summer; substrate with 70% mineral content and high drainage; minimum temperature 5°C; prone to damage from prolonged waterlogging.
