Native to South Africa, Crassula tetragona inhabits granite rocky slopes with well-drained soils. It is a polycarpic species exhibiting branched growth and features elongated leaves distinctively longer than most other Crassulas. Leaves linear, flattened, 15-25 mm long, spirally arranged on quadrangular stems. Dark green coloration with reddish hues under water stress or high light exposure.
Provide full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours daily. Water during active growth phases only, avoiding waterlogging; substrate should contain at least 70% mineral components. Minimum temperature 5°C; root rot risk if overwatered.
