Echeveria agata hails from central Mexican mountainous regions, thriving on calcareous rocky slopes at 1500-2000 m. It is a polycarpic species forming dense compact rosettes, notable within its genus for slightly serrated leaf margins and high tolerance to temperature fluctuations. Spatulate leaves 4-6 cm long arranged in a compact rosette; gray-green color with bluish hues intensifying during winter; leaf margins with fine serrations and rounded tips.
Full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours daily; watering restricted from October to March; substrate composed of 70% well-draining mineral content; minimum temperature 5°C; prevent waterlogging to avoid basal rot.
