Native to Mexico, Echeveria agavoides 'Sirius' inhabits calcareous rocky slopes at 1200-1800 m elevation. This polycarpic species shows a compact growth with narrower, sharply pointed leaves featuring subtly serrated margins, an unusual trait within the genus. Leaves lanceolate-spatulate, 3-5 cm, arranged in a dense rosette with serrated edges; deep green color with dark red tips intensified by full sun and winter conditions.
Require minimum 6 hours of full sun; reduced watering from October to March; substrate with at least 70% mineral content (lava rock or pumice); minimum temperature 5 °C; critical sensitivity to waterlogging causing leaf rot.
