Echeveria chihuahuensis is a succulent species native to northern Mexico, specifically Chihuahua state, where it inhabits rocky, calcareous soils at mid elevations. It produces clustered inflorescences with tubular red-orange flowers. It is often confused with related species but is distinguished by compact leaf form and flower coloration. Plant with fleshy, thick, ovate and slightly concave leaves arranged in compact rosettes. Leaves are green-gray with faint reddish margins. The inflorescence is a raceme bearing tubular red-orange flowers.
Requires full sun or bright filtered light. Use well-draining substrate with mineral components. Water moderately, allowing soil to dry between irrigations. Minimum temperatures should not drop below 5°C; avoid waterlogging.
