Echeveria lilacina originates from the rocky calcareous highlands of central Mexico, favoring well-drained limestone substrates. It is a slow-growing, polycarpic species exhibiting a distinctive thick waxy cuticle that imparts a unique gray-lilac hue uncommon among its genus. Compact rosette with spatulate leaves measuring 3-4 cm wide and 5-6 cm long, arranged spirally. Color shifts from gray-lilac to lighter shades during winter, with subtly translucent leaf margins.
Full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours; irrigate only in spring and autumn using a substrate of 70% pumice and 30% soil. Minimum temperature 5°C; root rot risk if waterlogging occurs.
