Echeveria lovely rose is native to central Mexico, inhabiting limestone rocky slopes at 1500-2000 m elevation. It exhibits a clumping, polycarpic growth habit, distinguished in the genus by its intense pink leaf coloration during winter months. Leaves spatulate, 4-6 cm long, arranged in a compact rosette with slightly undulated margins. Color shifts from gray-green to intense pink hues during winter, fading in summer.
Requires minimum 5 hours of direct full sun daily. Water sparingly from October to March, increase frequency April to September. Substrate composed of at least 70% mineral components (perlite, pumice). Minimum temperature 5 °C; prolonged waterlogging causes root rot.
