Echeveria nebula originates from the rocky slopes of central Mexico at 1500-2000 m elevation. It exhibits a clumping, polycarpic growth habit and an unusual epidermal pigmentation producing a matte, waxy surface atypical among Echeveria species. Leaves spatulate, 4-6 cm long, arranged in a dense rosette; epidermis gray-blue with intensified violet hues under water stress; margins subtly crenate.
Expose to full morning sun and afternoon shade; irrigate during active spring growth only, avoiding waterlogging; substrate with 70% mineral content, well-draining; minimum temperature 5°C; root rot risk if overwatered.
