Native to central Mexico, Echeveria 'Perla di Norimberga' inhabits calcareous rocky slopes at 1500-2000 m elevation. It is a polycarpic species forming rosettes up to 15 cm wide. Notably, its leaves exhibit a distinctive waxy coating uncommon within the genus. Spatulate leaves measuring 5-7 cm, arranged in a compact rosette. Waxy surface shows gray-lavender hues with pink highlights under water stress. Margins are subtly dentate; leaf thickness ranges 3-4 mm.
Requires full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours daily. Watering reduced from October to March, increased April to September. Substrate with at least 70% mineral content, well-draining. Minimum temperature 5 °C. Susceptible to waterlogging; ensure rapid drainage.
