Echeveria ramillette is native to rocky limestone slopes in central Mexico. It exhibits a cespitose, polycarpic growth habit and blooms with axillary inflorescences in late spring. Unique within its genus for slightly crenate leaf margins and tolerance to alkaline soils. Spatulate leaves 3-5 cm long arranged in a compact rosette; green-gray with violet hues during winter. Leaf margins exhibit fine crenations; surface slightly farinose.
Requires minimum 5 hours of direct sunlight; watering confined to spring through late summer allowing full substrate drying; substrate composed of at least 70% coarse sand and perlite; minimum temperature 5°C; prone to damage from prolonged waterlogging.
