Echeveria Red Shade originates from mountainous areas in Mexico, typically found on rocky slopes with well-drained soils. It is a polycarpic species forming compact rosettes and is distinguished by its intense red leaf pigmentation, an uncommon trait within the genus. Leaves spatulate, 4-6 cm long, arranged in a compact rosette. Dark red color with violet hues in winter, shifting to olive green in summer under high light exposure.
Full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours daily. Watering reduced from October to March, gradually increased in spring. Substrate with at least 70% mineral content, mandatory drainage. Minimum tolerance 5°C; sensitive to prolonged waterlogging.
