Echeveria serenity originates from Mexico, commonly found on limestone rocky slopes at elevations of 1500-2000 m. It is a clumping polycarpic species with leaves exhibiting a thicker waxy cuticle than other Echeveria, resulting in a matte, slightly powdery surface. Spatulate leaves 3-4 cm wide arranged in a compact rosette 15-18 cm diameter. Grey-blue coloration with violet hues in winter; margins slightly translucent.
Needs full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours daily. Watering reduced from November to March; substrate with 70% mineral content (coarse sand and pumice). Minimum temperature 5°C; prone to damage from prolonged waterlogging.
