Euphorbia debilispina is native to limestone outcrops in southwestern Madagascar. It grows on exposed slopes with thin, well-drained soils. This monocarpic species features slender, segmented stems, setting it apart within its taxonomic section. Slender cylindrical stems up to 30 cm long, segmented with sparse spines 3-5 mm long. Open branching pattern, greenish-gray coloration with violet hues under full sun.
Full direct sunlight exposure. Watering only during active growth, stop during dormancy. Substrate with at least 70% mineral content, preferably calcareous. Minimum temperature 10°C. Susceptible to waterlogging; avoid excess moisture.
