Euphorbia horrida alba originates from semi-desert granite outcrops in South Africa. This polycarpic species features segmented cylindrical stems densely covered with white spines, a distinctive trait within the genus. Segmented cylindrical stems 15-25 cm tall, rigid white spines arranged in 7-9 spiral rows, pale green coloration with minimal seasonal variation.
Full direct sunlight for at least 6 hours; reduced watering from autumn to spring; substrate containing at least 70% coarse sand and gravel; minimum temperature 8°C; prolonged waterlogging must be avoided to prevent root rot.
