Euphorbia inermis, native to South Africa, typically inhabits calcareous rocky slopes. This succulent species is polycarpic with spineless cylindrical stems, a distinctive trait within the Euphorbia genus. It favors well-drained substrates and exhibits slow yet steady growth. Cylindrical stems 1-2 cm in diameter, erect and loosely arranged, light green with yellowish hues during summer. Spineless, smooth surface, height up to 40 cm.
Full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours daily. Reduced watering from October to March, frequent in summer with complete drying between irrigations. Substrate with at least 70% mineral content. Minimum temperature 5 °C. Prolonged waterlogging causes rot.
