Native to South Africa, Euphorbia mammillaris inhabits limestone rocky slopes. It is a polycarpic species with segmented growth, distinguished by prominent tubercles setting it apart from other Euphorbia species. Cylindrical stems up to 50 cm tall, with conical tubercles arranged spirally. Green-gray color shifting to bluish tones during winter.
Full direct sunlight exposure. Watering reduced from late autumn to early spring. Substrate with minimum 70% draining mineral content. Minimum temperature 8°C. Prolonged waterlogging causes rot.
