Euphorbia pseudocactus originates from the Canary Islands, inhabiting volcanic rocky slopes with nutrient-poor, well-drained soils. It is a polycarpic species exhibiting tufted growth with articulated succulent stems, differing from typically arboreal or herbaceous Euphorbias. Cylindrical articulated stems, 1-2 cm diameter, forming dense clumps; glaucous green coloration with bluish tones intensified during winter. True leaves absent; reduced spines located at segment apices.
Full sun exposure for a minimum of 6 hours; watering restricted from spring through late summer, avoiding waterlogging; substrate composed of at least 70% mineral content (pumice, coarse sand); minimum temperature 5°C; prone to root rot if overwatered.
