Euphorbia resinifera is native to southern Morocco, thriving on calcareous and volcanic rocky substrates. It is a polycarpic succulent with segmented stems covered in strong spines, exuding a toxic milky resin, a distinctive trait within the Euphorbia genus. Segmented cylindrical stems 10-30 cm long, arranged in dense clumps, with 1-2 cm sharp spines. Glaucous green color with bluish hues in summer; whitish resin visible at wounds.
Full direct sunlight exposure; irrigation halted in winter, gradually resumed in spring; substrate with minimum 70% draining mineral content; minimum temperature 5 °C; susceptible to root rot from waterlogging.
