Gasteria sp. hails from South Africa, commonly found on rocky limestone slopes. It exhibits a polycarpic lifecycle with minimal flowering, atypical within its genus. Prefers partial shade microhabitats and well-drained soils. Succulent lanceolate-spatulate leaves arranged in compact rosettes, 5-12 cm long. Dark green with irregular white spots, coloration deepens under low light conditions.
Provide filtered light; reduce watering in winter, increase in summer; substrate with minimum 70% mineral content; minimum temperature 8°C; prevent waterlogging to avoid root rot.
