greenovia codrentalis

Greenovia codrentalis is endemic to the Canary Islands, inhabiting north-facing volcanic rock outcrops. It is a monocarpic species with a biennial life cycle, forming a basal rosette that disintegrates post-flowering. Unique within the genus for its late flowering and white petals tinged with pale pink. Leaves spatulate, 3-5 cm long, arranged in a compact rosette. Green-grey color with slightly pink margins under water stress. Rosette diameter 8-12 cm.

Instructions de culture

Expose to full sun for at least 6 hours daily. Water only during spring-summer, avoiding waterlogging; substrate with at least 70% mineral content. Minimum temperature 5 °C. Susceptible to root rot from overwatering.
