Haworthia arachnoidea originates from rocky, sandy slopes in South Africa. It is a polycarpic species forming dense clumps. Uniquely within its genus, it displays white cobweb-like filaments on leaf surfaces, an uncommon morphological trait among Haworthias. Leaves are triangular, 10-15 mm thick, arranged in a compact rosette with undulate margins. Dark green surface densely covered with white filaments forming a web-like pattern. Leaf length ranges 3-5 cm with minimal seasonal color variation.
Requires filtered shade; watering reduced in winter, increased in summer. Substrate composed of at least 70% mineral content, coarse sand and pumice. Minimum temperature 5°C. Prolonged waterlogging causes root rot, avoid overwatering.
