Native to South Africa, Haworthia big bang inhabits sandstone rocky slopes. It is a clump-forming, polycarpic succulent with irregularly expanding leaves, notable for its translucent surface and thick veins, a distinctive trait uncommon within the genus. Thick, triangular leaves 5-7 cm long arranged in an open rosette; translucent surface with prominent white veins; dark green color shifting to brownish tones in summer.
Bright filtered light exposure; reduced watering in winter, increased during growth; substrate with at least 70% coarse sand and gravel; minimum temperature 5°C; prevent waterlogging to avoid root rot.
