Haworthia concolor originates from the Western Cape coastal regions of South Africa, thriving on granite and sandy substrates. It is a slow-growing, polycarpic succulent notable for its matte leaf surface and absence of the genus’ characteristic translucence. Leaves linear, 8-12 mm thick, arranged in compact rosettes with smooth margins. Uniform grey-green coloration, minimal seasonal variation, lacking translucent streaks or prominent tubercles.
Prefers bright filtered light, avoiding direct sun exposure. Water sparingly from October to March, using substrate with at least 70% mineral content for drainage. Minimum temperature 8°C; prone to damage from prolonged waterlogging.
