Haworthia glauca, native to South African rocky slopes with siliceous soils, exhibits slow, polycarpic growth. Unlike many Haworthia, its leaves are thicker and less translucent, favoring partial shade and cooler microhabitats within its endemic range. Leaves linear-spatulate, 6-8 mm thick, arranged in a compact rosette; matte gray-green surface with slightly translucent margins, color deepens during winter.
Provide stable partial shade; reduce watering autumn to spring, increase in summer; substrate with 70% mineral content (coarse sand and pumice); minimum temperature 5°C; prolonged waterlogging induces root rot.
