Haworthia herbacea originates from rocky granite slopes in South Africa. It is a slow-growing, polycarpic species characterized by thick succulent leaves with a tuberculate surface, an unusual texture within the Haworthia genus. Thick lanceolate leaves, 4-7 cm long, arranged in a compact rosette; surface bears prominent tubercles; dark green coloration with brownish hues under full sun exposure.
Provide bright filtered light; reduce watering from autumn through spring; substrate composed of at least 70% coarse sand and gravel; minimum temperature 5°C; prevent waterlogging to avoid leaf rot.
