Haworthia limifolia is native to the coastal KwaZulu-Natal region of South Africa, thriving on sandy soils and volcanic rock outcrops. It is a clumping, polycarpic succulent characterized by a notably ridged epidermis uncommon within Haworthia species. Leaves are thick, triangular, 3-5 cm wide, arranged in a compact rosette; surface features pronounced longitudinal ridges, dark green with gray-blue hues intensified under strong light.
Provide bright filtered light; reduce watering from autumn to spring, increase in summer; substrate composed of at least 70% mineral components for drainage; minimum temperature 5°C; prevent waterlogging to avoid root rot.
