Haworthia superfasciata originates from the Western Cape of South Africa, typically found on volcanic rocky substrates. It thrives in sandy, well-drained soils. This slow-growing, polycarpic succulent is distinguished by its pronounced transverse white banding uncommon in related species. Leaves linear, slightly curved, arranged in a compact rosette; length 4-6 cm, width 0.8-1.2 cm. Dark green coloration with opaque white transverse bands, intensified under strong light exposure.
Provide bright filtered light; water exclusively during active growth in spring-summer, preventing waterlogging. Use substrate with minimum 70% mineral content (coarse sand and pumice). Minimum temperature 8°C; root rot risk if overwatered.
