Native to South Africa, Haworthia venosa inhabits rocky limestone slopes with well-drained soils. It is a slow-growing, polycarpic succulent distinguished by its prominently reticulated leaf venation, setting it apart within the Haworthia genus. Lanceolate leaves, 5-7 mm thick, arranged in a compact rosette; dark green surface with prominent whitish veins, more pronounced under shaded conditions.
Partial shade or filtered light exposure; reduced watering from autumn to spring, preventing waterlogging; substrate with at least 70% coarse mineral content; minimum temperature 8°C; prone to root rot if overwatered.
