Native to the rocky limestone slopes of southeastern Arizona, Mammillaria gracilis 'Arizona Snow' is a clumping, polycarpic cactus. It features sharp tubercles and produces white flowers throughout summer, adapting to calcareous substrates. Globose cactus with conical tubercles 5-7 mm long arranged in tight spirals. Radial spines thin, white, 10-15 mm long. White flowers 15-18 mm diameter emerge summer from areoles between tubercles.
Provide at least 6 hours of direct full sun daily. Water during spring and summer only, preventing waterlogging. Use substrate with minimum 70% mineral content, neutral to slightly alkaline pH. Minimum temperature 5 °C; root rot risk if overwatered.
