Mammillaria microhelia is native to Mexico, found on calcareous rocky slopes at 1200-1800 m elevation. It exhibits a clumping, polycarpic growth habit with tubercles bearing dense clusters of fine spines, notable for its relatively small flowers within the Mammillaria genus. Globose to slightly elongated stem, 3-5 cm diameter, with conical tubercles arranged spirally. Radial spines white, thin, 5-7 mm long; central spines absent or minimal. Pale pink flowers 8-10 mm, emerging between tubercles.

Instructions de culture

Full direct sunlight exposure for minimum 6 hours daily. Watering restricted from spring to early summer, stopped by autumn. Substrate composed of at least 70% mineral components (lapilli, pumice). Minimum temperature 5 °C. Prone to waterlogging; ensure rapid drainage.
