Native to South Africa, Portulacaria afra 'Mini Mini' inhabits rocky slopes with sandy substrates. It exhibits a dense, bushy growth and is a polycarpic species, notable for its significantly smaller leaves than the typical species. Leaves oval, 3-5 mm thick, arranged in tight opposite pairs on slender stems. Light green coloration with pinkish hues during winter.
Full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours daily. Water sparingly from October to March; substrate must contain at least 70% mineral content. Minimum temperature 5°C; prone to root rot if waterlogged.
