Sedum furfuraceum originates from the limestone mountains of southwestern China, commonly found in rocky crevices. It is a perennial polycarpic species with a dense, shrubby habit, distinguished by its slightly farinose leaf surface uncommon in other Sedum species. Leaves spatulate, 10-15 mm long, arranged in tight rosettes; green-gray with farinose coating, shifting to bluish in winter. Flowering stems erect up to 20 cm, pale yellow flowers.

Full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours; reduced watering from October to March, frequent during active growth. Substrate with at least 70% mineral content, well-draining. Minimum temperature 0 °C; prone to damage from prolonged waterlogging.
