Sedum nussbaumerianum originates from the mountainous calcareous rock outcrops of Mexico. It is a perennial, polycarpic species with a bushy, branching habit and exhibits unusual leaf pigmentation within the genus, shifting from pale green to intense orange hues under high light stress. Leaves spatulate, 2-3 cm long, arranged in compact rosettes; pale green color with orange tones intensifying in summer. Leaf margins exhibit slight translucency and dense succulent texture.
Needs full sun exposure for at least 6 hours daily; watering restricted from spring to late summer, avoiding waterlogging. Substrate with at least 70% mineral content and excellent drainage. Minimum temperature 5°C; prone to root rot under persistent moisture.
