Senecio rowelianus originates from the mountainous calcareous slopes of Mexico. It exhibits a creeping, branched growth habit and is polycarpic, notable within its genus for its slender, fragile stems up to 30 cm long. Leaves are linear, slender (2-4 cm), densely arranged on trailing stems. Color ranges from light green to silvery gray, lightening under intense light exposure.
Requires full sun exposure for at least 6 hours, reduced watering during winter, substrate composed of at least 70% well-draining mineral components. Minimum temperature 8°C. Root rot risk if waterlogging occurs.
