Aeonium 'Mardi Gras' is a hybrid derived from Aeonium haworthii native to the Canary Islands, thriving on well-drained volcanic substrates. It is a polycarpic shrub with slender branching. Notable for its stable multicolored variegation under full sun, an uncommon trait within the genus. Leaves spatulate, 3-5 cm long, arranged in open rosettes with irregular margins. Variegated coloration includes light green, cream, and purple hues, intensified by direct sunlight. Completely spineless.

Full sun or bright partial shade exposure. Water sparingly from autumn to spring; increase watering in summer only if substrate is dry. Substrate composed of at least 70% mineral content. Minimum tolerance 5°C; susceptible to waterlogging.
