☁️Ombra

Native to South Africa, Crassula ovata variegata inhabits rocky slopes with well-drained soils. It is a perennial, polycarpic species. Its leaf variegation, uncommon in Crassula genus, results from chloroplast mutations affecting photosynthesis efficiency. Leaves oval-spatulate, 3-5 cm, oppositely arranged with slight overlap; margins irregularly variegated white-cream; intense green color shifting to pale yellow under low light.
