echeveria vienna

Echeveria 'Vienna' originates from selective hybrids in Mexico, found on calcareous rocky slopes at 1500-2000 m elevation. It is a polycarpic species with slowly expanding persistent rosettes. Unique within the genus for its strong anthocyanin pigmentation on leaves under water stress. Compact rosette 8-12 cm diameter, spatulate leaves 3-5 cm long, slightly crenate margins. Green-gray color with red-purple hues during winter or drought stress.

Instructions de culture

Full sun exposure for minimum 6 hours daily, reduced watering from autumn to spring. Substrate with at least 70% mineral content, high drainage. Minimum temperature 5 °C. Susceptible to prolonged waterlogging.
