Euphorbia eritrea marmorata is native to the mountainous limestone terrains of the Horn of Africa, favoring rocky substrates under partial shade. It exhibits a clumping, polycarpic growth habit and features a distinctive marbled variegation uncommon within the Eritrean euphorbias. Cylindrical segmented stems 10-15 cm long, exhibiting white-gray marbled variegation on dark green background. Compact segment arrangement with recurved spines measuring 3-5 mm. Clumping growth with low, dense branching.
Place in filtered sunlight or partial shade. Water sparingly from spring to late summer, keep dry in winter. Use substrate with minimum 70% mineral content and good drainage. Minimum temperature 10°C. Susceptible to root rot from waterlogging.
