Crassula volkensii variegata originates from the mountainous regions of Kenya, thriving on exposed granite outcrops. It is a slow-growing, polycarpic species exhibiting a stable variegation uncommon in the Crassula genus. Leaves ovate-spatulate, 2-3 cm long, arranged in compact rosettes, with irregular cream and dark green variegated margins. Variegation intensifies under strong light conditions.
Requires full sun exposure for a minimum of 5 hours daily. Water sparingly from October to March; substrate should contain at least 70% pumice or volcanic grit. Minimum temperature 8°C; prone to damage from prolonged waterlogging.
