Crassula rupestris originates from coastal areas of South Africa, typically found on exposed granite rocks. It is a polycarpic succulent exhibiting dense branching, differentiating it from other Crassula species with more open growth habits. Leaves are triangular, 5-8 mm thick, arranged in opposite pairs on short stems, 1-2 cm long, with slightly serrated margins; green-grey coloration with reddish tips under water stress.
Requires at least 4 hours of direct sunlight; reduced watering from autumn to spring; substrate containing minimum 70% mineral drainage material; minimum temperature 5°C; susceptible to prolonged waterlogging.
